Red Lobster Cajun Shrimp Linguine
Ingredients: 1 pound linguine, 1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsley, salt, ground black pepper, 2 tablespoon olive oil, 2 tablespoon butter, 1 chopped white onion, 4 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 1 pound - about 25 - shrimp (shelled and deveined, tails off), 1/2 teaspoon of dried, crushed thyme, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1/8 teaspoon cayenne, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoon tomato paste, sugar, lemon juice

Recipe serves 4 people. Make necessary adjustments for larger quantities.

1. Place the shrimp in small mixing bowl. Dust shrimp with cayenne, salt, pepper and thyme. Toss and let sit.
2. Boil pasta in large pot of salted water until al dente. Drain the pasta, reserving some of the pasta water.
3. While the pasta is boiling, melt butter in a separate pan with olive oil over medium to medium high heat.
4. Saute onion until soft, 3-4 minutes.
5. Add chopped garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir for 30 seconds and do not let the garlic burn.
6. Add tomato paste, heavy cream and a small pinch of sugar. Stir ingredients and continue to cook until blended.
7. Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes.
8. Add pasta and toss, reserved pasta water may be added to moisten if necessary.
9. Allow the shrimp to finish cooking, another 1 to 2 minutes. Do not overcook. Add parsley. Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, if desired. Remove from heat, squeeze lemon juice over pasta and serve.

The Cheesecake Factory Oreo Cheesecake

Ingredients: 1 package (20 oz) Oreo cookies, 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted), 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese at room temperature, 3/4 cup sugar, 4 eggs lightly beaten, 1 cup sour cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, whipped cream, additional Oreo cookies, halved (optional)

Finely crush 26-30 cookies and set aside.
Coarsely chop remaining cookies and set aside.
Mix together finely crushed cookie crumbs and melted butter.
Press cookie/butter mixture on the bottom and two inches up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan and set aside.
Beat cream cheese and sugar in bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
Blend in lightly beaten eggs, one at a time, stirring by hand, to mix well after each addition.
Stir in sour cream and vanilla, until well blended.
Fold chopped cookies into the cheesecake batter.
Pour mixture into prepared crust.
Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
Cool on wire rack at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
Run a thin blade knife around the inside of the pan between the pan and crust, being careful not to cut into the cake.
When cooled to room temp, refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Remove side from pan; garnish with whipped cream, and a cookie half.

Ingredients: 3 pounds large uncooked shrimp in shells (no heads), 1 jar BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon freshly-ground pepper, 4 tablespoons liquid crab boil, 1/4 cup red hot sauce, 1/2 pound unsalted butter, 1/2-1 gallon milk

1. Wash shrimp in cold water
2. Soak shrimp in milk overnight
3. Mix all sauce ingredients in sauce pan and stir until boiling
4. Remove from heat and refrigerate for at least 4-5 hours
5. Drain milk from shrimp and place in a baking pan
6. Cover shrimp evenly with the sauce
7. Let stand one hour
8. Bake uncovered at 450 degrees for 15 minutes

1. Pour boiling water over dried mushrooms and soak for 30 minutes before draining.

3. Mix together chicken, salt, pepper, water, sherry, soy sauce, corn starch until chicken is coated.
4. Heat in large skillet over medium/high heat and add 3 tablespoons of oil and fry for three minutes. Remove Chicken.
5. Add 2 more tablespoons of oil. Add ginger, garlic, green onions, and chilies and fry for 60 seconds. Do Not Overcook. Add the mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and water chestnuts and fry for 2 minutes.
6. Return chicken to skillet and combine all ingredients. Add rice noodles (broken into pieces) into mixture.
7. Add the chicken and sauce mixture to your lettuce wraps! (You may secure with a toothpick if necessary)
